Fancy Nancy celebrates a decade in this special 10th anniversary edition of the first Fancy Nancy picture book by the New York Times bestselling team of Jane O’Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser. This special edition features a link to a free downloadable song from Fancy Nancy the Musical (“Anyone Can Be Fancy”, by Danny Abosch and Susan DiLallo) and includes a sheet of lyrics to the song in the back of the book. The book is currently available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and in bookstores nationwide.

Main Street Theater in Houston, TX has announced it will present “Fancy Nancy The Musical” as part of its 2014-15 season.

Based on the popular “Fancy Nancy” books, “Fancy Nancy The Musical” had an acclaimed Off-Broadway run at Vital Theatre from 2012-2014, and is currently touring nationally. The Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording is available on Ghostlight Records.
The West Coast Premiere of “Fancy Nancy The Musical” opens today at Oregon Children’s Theatre in Portland, OR. The production, which is directed by Stan Foote, runs Saturdays at 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. and Sundays at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. until June 1st. There is a sign interpreted performance Saturday, May 17th at 2:00 p.m.
The cast features Madison Wray as Nancy, Haley Ward as Bree, Annie Barker as Rhonda, Hannah Wilson as Wanda, Brendan Long as Lionel, and Dani Baldwin as Nancy’s mom.
The creative team includes: Stan Foote (Director), Darcy White (Musical Director), Daniel Meeker (Scenic Designer), Mikaela Gladstone-Saucedo (Costume Designer), Kristeen Crosser (Lighting Designer), Sara Mishler Martins (Choreographer), Em Gustason (Sound Designer), Kaye Blankenship (Props Master).

Founded in 1988, Oregon Children’s Theatre has served over two million children, teachers, and families. OCT is Oregon’s largest non-profit professional children’s theater company and a resident company of the Portland Center for the Performing Arts. Emerald City Theatre in Chicago, IL has announced it will present the Chicago Premiere of “Fancy Nancy The Musical” as part of its 2014-15 season. Directed by Ernie Nolan, the production runs from January 31 – May 24, 2015 at the Apollo Theater.
